Overview and Role

BBC’s FAST channel portfolio spans 22 always-on streaming channels across news, entertainment, lifestyle, and fandom-led programming. The slate includes genre destinations such as BBC Food, Earth, Comedy, Travel, and Home & Garden, alongside title-led channels including Classic Doctor Who, Top Gear, Antiques Roadshow UK, BritBox Mysteries, and Bargain Hunt. Each channel required a clear identity within crowded partner-platform environments where users make decisions in seconds.

Ankita designed and adapted key art across major distribution partners including Amazon, Roku, Samsung TV Plus, LG, Tubi, Pluto TV, Plex, Vizio, and Xumo, translating BBC branding into each platform’s unique specifications and merchandising formats. Working across dozens of templates, she ensured consistency while tailoring assets to feel native and competitive within each interface.

She also created seasonal and editorial stunt campaigns such as Holiday Marathons, Valentine’s Day marathons, and “Best Of” collections. Many of these relied on dated archive imagery that required retouching, restoration, and re-composition to feel current. The result was a library of high-performing promotional tiles built to stand out, drive clicks, and keep legacy content relevant in a modern streaming landscape.
